By accessing or using Dashguard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Dashguard service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Account Registration

To use Dashguard, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

3. Service Description

Dashguard provides authentication infrastructure including hosted login pages, OAuth 2.0 APIs, JavaScript SDKs, and user management tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to breach our security measures
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service
  • Use the service to transmit malware or malicious code
  • Scrape or harvest data from the service without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

5. Pricing and Payment

Dashguard offers free and paid subscription plans:

  • Fees are charged monthly or annually based on your chosen plan
  • All fees are in Euros and exclude applicable taxes
  • Payment is processed through Stripe
  • You can upgrade or downgrade at any time
  • Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

6. Service Level and Uptime

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

7. Data Ownership and Privacy

You retain all rights to your data. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

8. Intellectual Property

Dashguard and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are owned by us. You may not use our branding without written permission. You grant us a license to use any feedback or suggestions you provide about the service.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You can cancel your account from your dashboard settings
  • We may terminate your account for violation of these terms
  • Upon termination, you lose access to the service
  • We will retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
  • You can request data deletion after account termination

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dashguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Warranties Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Dashguard harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
